METROCON12 Call for Presentations

Interested parties will be invited to submit CEU seminar presentations for METROCON12 Expo & Conference, which is produced by a volunteer alliance between the Texas/Oklahoma Chapter of IIDA [International Interior Design Association], and the Texas Chapter of ASID [American Society of Interior Designers]. The two-day show will be held at Dallas Market Hall in Dallas, Texas, on Thursday, August 9 and Friday, August 10, 2012.

We Are Looking For CEU Presentations

If you are interested in presenting a topic for an education session, you are invited to submit an online application. Those selected as a speaker will contribute to the commercial and residential interior design and architecture professions. You must submit online via this page (see the LINKS section to the right) between January 3, 2012 - March 1, 2012.

The CEU seminars contribute to the success of METROCON. Our goal this year is to meet the attendees’ requests by providing new CEU topics for METROCON12.

Presentations do NOT have to be pre-approved by IDCEC to be considered. All courses chosen for 2012 that do not already have individual, non-expired IDCEC numbers will be submitted by METROCON to IDCEC together. Once approved, each course will receive an individual, one-time use conference IDCEC course number that can be used for METROCON12 only.

All submissions will be reviewed by the METROCON Committee of Volunteers, who will decide which CEU's will be presented / sent to IDCEC for review.

Please feel free to contact Catherine McCauley, METROCON12 Volunteer Professional Development Chair, with any questions at education@metrocon.info.

The Evaluation Process

CEU Presentations will be evaluated by the METROCON12 Volunteer committee based on the following criteria:
