• By completing the registration process, the Attendee acknowledges complete understanding and full acceptance of the METROCON Terms & Conditions.
  • Attendee pre-registration for the trade show, CEUs, etc. will open online June 1, 2017 @ 8:00 AM CST and registration for programming will close August 4, 2017 @ 5:00 PM CST.
  • Since every Attendee is tracked within the registration database by his/her email address, every registrant must have his/her own distinct email address to be able to register online. In other words, two or more people cannot register with the same email address.
  • The only method of payment accepted online is credit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover). All monetary transactions are to be conducted in U.S. dollars.
  • Attendees claiming Membership to receive discounted CEUs must qualify as a Member as per the information provided within the IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT MEMBERSHIP section on the Attendees Fees page. The information provided by the Attendee will be checked, and if the claim is found to be false, the Attendee will be required to pay the difference.
  • Anyone not wanting to pre-register online will need to register on-site during the conference. Payment for the trade show must be made at the Registration Desk at Dallas Market Hall. Acceptable methods of payment are cash, check and credit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover). Payment for CEUs must be made at the CEU Help Desk at Dallas Market Hall. Acceptable methods of payment are check and credit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover).
  • REFUND POLICY: Attendees have until August 4, 2017 @ 5:00 PM CST (the close of online registration) to cancel any paid sessions (CEUs/Keynote Speaker/Seminars) and/or pre-paid lunches with a full refund. After that date and time, no refunds will be given.
  • SOLICITATION POLICY: Any Attendee who has not purchased booth space or a show sponsorship who is found to be promoting their products or services in such a way found unacceptable to METROCON Committee members will be removed from the trade show premises – either by security guards or members of the METROCON Committee – and asked not to return during the remaining portion of the two-day event. This practice is unfair to paying Exhibitors and Sponsors and will not be tolerated.

CEUs/Keynote Speaker/Seminars

  • Due to high demand, the METROCON Committee kindly asks that Attendees do not sign up for more sessions than they actually plan to attend. METROCON is trying to accommodate as many attendees as possible.
  • Due to high demand, the METROCON Committee kindly asks that Attendees registering for CEUs not to sign up for more than one class designated as “Barrier Free.” over the two-day show. TBAE [Texas Board of Architectural Examiners] only requires one (1) of the annually required twelve (12) CEPHs for Texas Registered Interior Designers (RIDs) to be designated as “Barrier Free,” and METROCON is trying to accommodate as many RIDs as possible.
  • METROCON's registration system allows for changes to your CEU/Seminar schedule and/or pre-paid lunch purchases. Simply login with the email address and password you used to set up your METROCON account and make the changes. If after you have registered you need to make any changes that require additional payments - i.e., adding on the Keynote, adding a Seminar, adding a lunch, or signing up for CEUs for the first time - then please contact the Show Manager at for help.
  • If a CEU that you want to take sells out during online pre-registration, you may put yourself on an online waitlist for that particular class. When a registrant who was registered for that CEU logs into the system and removes him- or herself from it, the system will notify the first person on the waitlist. If a spot never opens up for you online, then stand-by openings may still be available on-site during the conference due to no-shows, but they cannot be guaranteed. Note that if you are already pre-registered for at least one CEU then you will not be charged on-site for taking additional CEUs as a stand-by attendee.
  • All offerings will start promptly on time. Anyone arriving late risks forfeiting his/her seat to stand-by Attendees.

Programming for Students & New Graduates

  • In addition to registering to attend METROCON, Students & New Graduates must also register for each program that they want to attend. Registration links will be available on the Student Programs page when they become available.
